Seven young people from three different areas of Tower Hamlets came together for this Headliners radio project.

Their task: To investigate the Olympic and Paralympic values – respect, excellence, friendship, courage, determination, inspiration and equality – and produce podcasts investigating the impact the Games will have.

First up…

Will the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games add anything to the capitals already rich multicultural mix? Or will it bring more trouble than it’s worth?

What benefits will the Olympics and Paralympics bring to east London? Will the streets be paved in gold just like the athletes that win the medals, or will it end up being a twisted ankle, holding the area back.
